Quarantine: release & reject
Messages classified as spam are not delivered but stored safely. Find them under Quarantine.
What happens to which mail?
- Virus detected → the mail is rejected (not releasable – deliberately, for your protection).
- Spam detected → the mail goes to quarantine (depending on your setting; alternatively just tag or pass it).
- Clean → delivered directly to your destination server.
Release or reject
Open an item to see sender, subject and a safe text preview of the content, then:
- Release – deliver the e-mail to the mailbox after all.
- Reject – delete the e-mail permanently.
How long mail stays in quarantine depends on the retention of your plan.
